New horizons open up where the asphalt stops. Gravel represents relaxed riding on roads and woodland trails, alone or in a group, in races or on overnighters at the weekend. A whole new trend has grown up with increasing numbers of fans, new bike categories and the bike lifestyle that goes with it including events, clothing and media.
Schwalbe has been involved in this development from the outset and continues to diversify its product range in line with requirements. Following the G-One Speed and G-One Allround gravel models, the G-One Bite completes the product family. It rolls away smoothly on the road but only really comes into its own in off-road terrain. A considerably more open tread and reinforced outer blocks for solid corner control give the new gravel tyre perfect bite. As a result, it stays securely on track even on wet and muddy woodland trails. With the three G-One models, Schwalbe now has the right tyre for all gravel requirements, for both overnighters and cyclo-cross racing.
The new G-One Bite with Tubeless Easy technology is available from specialist bicycle retailers in different sizes at a cost from US$61 until US$88.
